There's a website with lots of info on the new Bionic Woman. Contains alot of spoliers on parts of the plot and the characters. From what I read, Katee's character is really evil who hates humanity and frakking insane. Should be real fun to watch :)

Interview with Ron

Ron answers questions about Season 3 and 4 in this interview from the Pittsburg Post-Gazette.

Good stuff here. He says Katee is signed for Season 4 but did not say if she is "real" as in not a figment of Lee's imagination. It would be cool to see her on 2 shows if Bionic Woman gets picked up.

He also explains more about the DVD movie in the fall and says that the whole cast will be involved even though it's about the Pegasus. This is good news as I wouldn't want to watch a BSG movie if most of the regular cast wasn't in it.

BSG - Maelstrom

Wow what a great episode. What really stood out for me was the emotional impact of the last bits when her viper went boom. It really reminded me of why I love this show. Lee's reaction and those in the CIC especially Adama and Tigh. Amazing. After this ending, I really do believe that her death has seriously hit, slammed, punched, kicked, etc... the whole show - just like RDM and DE said they wanted to accomplish. Even though the episodes are totally different, it really reminded me of Hand of God in terms of the emotional impact on me. Hand of God is my all time favourite episode. I loved the way they celebrated as a team at the end when the mission was accomplished. And in this episode seeing all of them totally devastated really shook me. What powerful moments on extreme ends of the scale. Amazing what great TV can do.

There is no way Starbuck is dead... not with all the hints about Aurora, her destiny, "they" waiting for her, etc. I think she probably got transported out of the viper to the "place between life and death" just before her viper exploded. If she doesn't appear in the last scene of the last episode in S03, then I surely think she will be in S04.

I have to revised my theory of her being "resurrected" by the cylons though :) She will know the way to earth and will return to the fleet as an enlightened being - whatever this means. But not everyone will trust her. Perhaps people will think she is a cylon cos she returned from "the dead."

Got much more to say but will save it. My last words will be that I am glad, in a way, that this episode is over, now I can get back to real life. Whew! :)

ETA: Katee was fan-fraking-tastic in the episode, esp in the scene where she is looking at her younger self talking with her mom. All the reasons why Starbuck is such a great character is cos of her.

I ended the work week on a high and was feeling pretty good on Friday. After watching Collaborators, I feel depressed. The pain+rage Kara and Tigh are going through are just too much. Their story line is so powerful and their pain palpable, my brain has been eaten. KS and MH really are fantastic.

Have people overestimated K+T's "recovery" after being libertaed from NC? That they could go back to being "normal?" No one seems to realise that they need help. Isn't there a mind dcotor who they can talk to on board on of the ships? Ugh. I would think there would be some protocol to treat soldiers/civillians for post traumatic stress. Certainly our all caring Madame Presient would have thought of this????? It is like they are walking around bleeding to death in front of everyone's eyes and no one gives a frak.

I also saw SciFi's exclusive materials and it showed a few scenes from next week's "Torn." Poor Kara -- it looks like it only gets worse with Adama being so tough on her. Not to mention Kat is back being her usual obnoxious self, and this cannot be good. The clips showed the lead up to the hair cutting scene and it looked very powerful. She carries a knife strapped to her leg(!) and is going to use it to hack off the hair.

Surely Kara cannot be "cured" when she recommits to the miltary, but I hope she gets back a purpose to live. Cos right now I think she would rather be dead. (Once again in those few scenes Katee's face communicates more than a bazillion words ever could.)

2006 Scream Awards Video Clips

SciFi Wire has a couple of exclusive clips featuring Katee, Grace and Tricia on the red carpet, and Katee and Grace after they received the award for Best TV Show.

Clips are not spoilery. Katee says there'll be alot of drinking, fighting and sex scenes in S3, of which Starbuck is heavily involved :)

There's a backstage interview with them after receiving the "Best TV Show" Award for BSG. Quite funny. When they got upstage they didn't know what to say as each thought the other had prepared something. Tricia was there too.

Hmmm... I just heard this said on a podcast from Talkingmetal.com. I'm curious, what exactly is a "ghetto booty?"

The guy who likes Katee's booty was one of the guys from Anthrax that visited the BSG set recently. They were interviewed about their expereinces there. Apparently they had such a good time they didn't want to leave... everyone made them feel so welcomed and treated them like royalty. The set was described as having a very friendly atmosphere. Another one of the Anthrax guys interviewd had much good things to say about Katee.

They were also given a DVD with the first 2 eps of S3 on it... Starbuck's scenes with Leoben were described as "violent and morbid."

The trailer combines past season with S3 footage - most we have seen before but a few new shots, plus longer shots of the some of the S3 stuff we have seen.

I came across a couple of rather old Scifi.com interviews of Katee and Tricia that someone uploaded to Putfile. I haven't ever seen either of these before (maybe cos I only became hooked after S1 had already aired). I think this was around the time of the Mini.
